Splash Lionesses

We found two lionesses - one with 4 cubs, the other in support - who had (very wisely) distanced themselves from the main pack, so that they could nurture the cubs in safety without the dominant pack males interfering and trying to kill their offspring. Talk about photogenic - it was hard not to stay all day. Then one of the adults spotted some Impala and tried to get within striking range, but some larger juvniles arrived to play - and the hunt was forgotten.
